Obituary

Judith Arlene Bickerton (1949 - 2022)

Passed away peacefully on January 6, 2022 after a brief illness at the age of 72, surrounded by her children and grandchildren. Judy was the loving mother of Brett (Jaime) Bickerton and Andrea Bickerton. She was a proud grandma to Ethan and Cameron, and her grand-pet, Cooper. She is survived by her siblings Jill Bortolussi, Bryce Liberty, Annalea Leighton and Rosemarie Liberty who will miss her dearly.

Judy will be remembered as a strong woman who loved her family deeply and with intense pride. Her grandchildren were her life. She was never happier than when she was sharing her love of the symphony with them, sitting on the porch enjoying a treat or floating around the pool. A kind and loyal friend to so many, Judy was generous with her time and she loved to share stories over a round of bridge. One way Judy showed her adoration for her family and friends was with food and she filled many hearts and bellies with her baking.

Visitation will be held on Sunday July 10, 2022 at the Henry Walser Funeral Home from 2-4 p.m.

As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Bickerton Family Fund (via KWCF) would be appreciated by the family (cards available at the funeral home). Arrangements entrusted to Henry Walser Funeral Home (519-749-8467). Visit www.henrywalser.com for Judy's memorial.

Our mother loved to bake, specifically around the holidays. Family and friends have decided to bake in her honour so we thought we would share her recipes.
